- Procurement Engineer
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, degree in quantity surveyor would be an added advantage.
Experience: 5-10 years’ proven experience as a procurement engineer in construction projects (School/Residential/Commercial/Industrial projects). Skills: –
Experience with drafting of terms and conditions and an understanding of accompanying legal implications, solid understanding on Contract Law.
Knowledge of Expediting, Vendor Quality Surveillance, Logistics (Incoterms, freight forwarding), Site Materials Control and other activities related to local and global purchasing and movement of equipment/materials across borders.
Sound commercial knowledge with respect to performance and risk mitigation mechanisms and exhaustive detailed commercial evaluation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic will be a plus.
Good Communication and Negotiation skills A valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.
