Marketing Coordinator
Millennium Hotels & Resorts-MEA Regional Office
Reports to: Regional Director of Marketing & Communications
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Marketing & Communications team at Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA head office. This includes tasks such as managing the team’s calendar, scheduling meetings, liaise with hotel marketing team for support. The Marketing Coordinator also provides support with marketing projects, such as creating social media content, managing email marketing campaigns, and developing marketing materials.
Job Requirements
– Provide all necessary administrative support to the entire Marketing & Communications team. – Manage the team’s calendar and schedule meetings: This includes keeping track of the team’s availability, setting
meetings, and sending out meeting reminders.
– Prepare reports such as monthly marketing activity reports, performance reports, and other ad hoc reports such as reports on specific marketing campaigns or trends. -Provide support with marketing projects such as assisting with the development and execution of marketing
campaigns. -Answer phones and respond to emails including answering questions from customers, guests, and other stakeholders.
The Marketing Coordinator should be able to provide accurate and timely information.
– Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales, Finance, HR and Executive Office. The candidate should be able to build relationships with other departments and work effectively across teams.
-Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices which includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and following industry thought leaders. The Marketing Coordinator should be able to identify new trends and opportunities that can be applied to the marketing team’s work.
-Prepare RFPs of suppliers, gather information about suppliers, drafting RFPs, and following up with suppliers. The candidate should be able to understand the needs of the marketing team and identify the best suppliers to meet those needs.
– Follow up on payments and invoices – track payments, resolve invoices, and ensure that all payments are made on time by working with suppliers and the finance department to ensure that all payments are processed correctly.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
-1-2 years of experience in marketing or administrative support. -Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
