HOW UNITED SERVICES (W.L.L)
How United Services was established in the State of Qatar in 2000 by Al Darwish United and Interserve UK. Its purpose was to deliver industry-leading Mechanical, Electrical, Power and Maintenance services to a wide range of clients. Throughout the last decade Qatar has witnessed development at an astounding pace and How United Services are proud to be a part of this growth, through the delivery of numerous projects across all spheres of construction ranging from commercial and office buildings, airports, housing and since 2006, also the gas and oil industry. We have worked for blue chip clients such as RasGas, Exxon Mobile and Qatar Airways. We have also supported the construction of Ras Laffan the hub of petrochemical activities in Qatar.
We have worked hard to gain the reputation as one of the major MEP companies operating within the Qatari market. Today the company maintains a core of experienced staff and directly employed site operatives numbering over 1000 people. Our work is supported by strategically located staff and operative bases with logistical support provided via central stores, dedicated plant and duct / fabrication facilities.

A Leading MEP Contractor in Qatar
Required the following;
- QUANTITY SURVEYOR (MEP)
BSc/BE (Mech/Elect) degree qualified Quantity Surveyor is required with
following skills; Over 7 yrs experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management/
Cost & Value Reconciliation in MEP Construction Companies. Should be able
to carry out valuations of works in progress, forecasting of final costs and sales,
prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts, measure, value, submit and
negotiate contract variations and project final accounts and monitor project
budgets.
- MECHANICAL ENGINEER
BSc/BE (Mech) degree qualified Mechanical Engineer is required with the
following skills; Over 4 yrs experience as Construction Site Engineer in
Commercial & Industrial Building Services. Should possess experience in all
Mechanical activities such as HVAC, Fire Systems, Plumbing & Drainage systems.
Should be capable of preparing material submittal and verify design calculations,
such as ESP in compliance with the project specifications and familiar with local
and international codes and standards i.e. QCS, QCDD & NFPA etc.
- AUTO CAD DRAUGHTSMAN – ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL
Diploma qualified Electrical & Mechanical Draughtsman with a minimum 5
years experience in MEP Construction Companies are required with the
following skills; Experience in producing drawings for Electrical & ELV Systems,
HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Fighting and preparation of coordination
drawings. Experience in Revit (BIM) will be an advantage.
