E-commerce Executive

Millennium Hotels & Resorts – MEA Regional Office

Reports to: Regional Director of Marketing & Communications

The E-Commerce Executive is responsible for the overall e-commerce and digital marketing activities of Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA head office. This includes developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing the hotel’s online presence, and tracking and analyzing e-commerce performance.

Job Requirements

– Develop and execute e-commerce strategies including managing the brand website; creating and managing online marketing campaigns; and tracking and analyzing e-commerce performance.

-Understand the hotels’ target market and develop e-commerce strategies that appeal to them,

-Track and analyze e-commerce performance including tracking website traffic, leads generated, and sales, as well as Identify trends and patterns in the data and make recommendations for how the hotels can improve its e-commerce performances.

-Ensure that hotels are aligned with global compliance, strategies, and activation across digital marketing channels to

maximize online presence and contribute to hotel performance. – Conduct regular audits on the brand website and provide detailed report on each hotel’s website performance,

ensuring that the information is accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized.

-Develop a comprehensive social media strategy and SOP, both for the corporate social media account and the individual hotel brands.

– Manage the hotel’s social media accounts in a way that engages with potential guests and builds brand awareness.

– Work with other departments such as the Sales, Marketing, and IT departments to ensure that the e-commerce and digital marketing activities are aligned with the brand’s overall business goals. The E-Commerce Executive should be able to communicate effectively with other departments and work collaboratively to achieve common goals. -Stay up to date on industry trends in e-commerce and digital marketing so that they can recommend best practices for the hotels.

Qualifications and Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business administration, or a related field.

– 3+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing in the hospitality industry.

– Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and practices. -Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

-Proven ability to develop and execute e-commerce strategies. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and e-commerce software.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
