Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer at Vista Automation, you will be responsible for the complete design-to-deployment lifecycle of electrical and control panels. Your key accountabilities include:
- Panel Layout Design: Design comprehensive electrical and control panel layouts in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with the Automation Team during the design phase to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Shop Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with Panel Shop Staff during the assembly phase to verify design intent and resolve technical queries.
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Participate actively in Factory Acceptance Tests to validate panel performance before dispatch.
- Site Support: Provide technical support during field installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure successful project handover.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Education: B.Sc or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in designing, drafting, assembly, and testing within the control and electrical panels domain
- Core Competencies:
- Electrical engineering background with strong project handling and coordination abilities
- Expertise in design, drafting, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Eplan software
