- COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE – BREAK BULK / PROJECT CARGO / ODC CARGO
Responsibilities:
-Handle client inquiries and provide competitive quotations for break bulk, project cargo, and ODC cargo.
-Understand client requirements and suggest suitable transportation solutions (sea, road, barge, or multimodal).
-Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and tender submissions.
-Negotiate rates with carriers, transporters, and other vendors.
-Coordinate with reporting Manager to obtain cost-effective solutions.
-Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
-Identify new business opportunities and assist in customer acquisition.
-Plan and execute end-to-end logistics operations for break bulk and ODC cargo.
-Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, surveyors, transporters, crane operators, and other stakeholders.
-Oversee cargo loading/unloading, lashing, securing, and documentation.
-Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards (DG, IMO, port regulations, etc.).
-Track and monitor cargo movement and provide regular updates to clients.
-Prepare and maintain operational documentation (B/L, shipping instructions, MBL/HBL, custom documents).
-Troubleshoot operational issues promptly to avoid delays or additional costs.
