International Modern Hospital (IMH)
International Modern Hospital (IMH) is the oldest private hospital in north Dubai. Established in 2005, we were the first private healthcare provider to be inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.
IMH is proudly family-owned and truly integrated in its community. We are the natural choice for everyone’s health with diagnostic testing, elective surgery, emergency admissions and chronic disease management.
We are available around the clock, every day of the week, so that people with health concerns can access rapid diagnosis and treatment thus alleviating prolonged worrying and anxiety. We strive to maintain waiting times in our Emergency Department of less than 30 minutes from arrival.
IMH is a tertiary multi-specialty hospital that has been fully renovated in 2023. The modern facilities include a total of 117 beds (with 4 VIP suites), 5 fully equipped operating theatres plus an endoscopy suite, intensive care facilities, oncology and dialysis wards and rehabilitation & physiotherapy services.
The services are led by an international management team and delivered by highly skilled and qualified doctors and medical professionals from around the world.
IMH is renowned for its women and children’s services (including a 24-hour Pediatric Hotline), orthopedics, cardiology services boasting a modern Cath. Lab., general surgery, urology, gastroenterology, bariatric and plastic surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, dental and neurosurgery.
IMH’s physicians are well k
nown for internal medicine and family medicine services which are available 24/7. In addition, IMH offers neurology, nephrology, endocrinology and pulmonology services.

Access to IMH is easy as we are prominently located on Sheikh Rashid Road, between Al Mina Street and Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street. We have car parking facilities and valet parking options. It’s also possible to park at the rear of our hospital on 37 Street and enter the hospital via a sidewalk. Public transport services are convenient too.
Payment couldn’t be easier as we are recognized by all the main local insurance companies and by international health fund networks. We also accept cash payments.
