Job Requirements
• Analyse training needs of the hotel in general and individual departments, and develop strategies which address needs, presenting in the form of a Training Business Plan for the General Manager and Executive Committee for review
• Ensure effective training programs are in place for the following, in addition to the ones found in TNA:1) New Employee Orientation 2)Train the Trainer 3) Customer Service Training 4)Technical job specific training (through certification of departmental SOP’s) 5) Supervisory Skills Training 6)Management Development 7) Fire, Life and Safety Training 8)Selling Skills 9) Employee retraining.
• Analyse training needs of the hotel in general and individual departments, and develop strategies which address needs, presenting in the form of a Training Business Plan for the General Manager and Executive Committee for review.
Assists Director HR in day to day HR operation, including colleague housing, cafeteria, recruitment, performance
management, engagement activities etc.
• Able to lead the recruitment process and colleague welfare activities.
• Able to bring positive change in the hotel culture with all L&D & HR practices.
Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience as an Asst L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
. Designing and delivering training sessions
Basic understanding of HR function
Hotel Management Graduate preferred
• Certified Task & Group Trainer
