ABOUT COMPANY
The first Minutes branch opened in 1984 as a small shop in Wahda Street in Sharjah, offering shoe repair and key cutting services. The second branch opened ten years later in City Centre Deira in 1995, offering a wider range of products and services such as engraving, mobile repair and watch repair.
Over the following years, Minutes has expanded at a rapid pace; opening a total of 42 branches and continuously increasing the number of services – making it the largest one-stop repair shop for customers in the UAE.

MEP Technician
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Retail
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform maintenance and repair work across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
– Install and maintain electrical billboards, running lights, and related systems at store locations
– Carry out carpentry tasks including furniture assembly, fixture installation, and minor modifications
– Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including valves, drainage, and fixtures
– Ensure safe and compliant installation of wiring, circuits, and electrical components
– Conduct regular preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns
– Respond to urgent maintenance requests across branches and head office
– Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
– Proven experience in retail, shopping malls, or commercial facilities
– Sound knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
– Skilled in using tools and equipment relevant to MEP work
– Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and effective communication skills
– Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or in a team
