Founded in 1989, Al Ain Juniors School has rapidly emerged as one of the most sought-after schools in the city of Al Ain. Our school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India (Affiliation No. 6630040) and accredited by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, U.K. (Accreditation No. AE187). We are recognized by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates.
We are a comprehensive school aiming to achieve excellence at all levels. Within a clear and firm structure, AJ seeks to develop self-discipline and individual motivation amongst its students, encouraging them to make the fullest use of all the opportunities open to them. We provide a stimulating, complete and varied curriculum that gives all children the opportunity to learn from a wide range of experiences including educational tours and field trips and inviting resource personnel and philanthropists to the school. Our aim is to ensure that every student ‘achieves success’. The teaching and support staff of the school are committed to developing their own expertise in order to ensure that we have the ability to develop every student’s potential.
Emphasis is placed on spiritual, cultural and moral growth for all members of the school community. We expect every student to have self-respect and respect for others. Teaching and learning take place within the context of the wider community. In addition to the normal scholastic programs, we provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities, thereby enhancing the development of the all-round personality of the students.

Under the banner of the AJ Group currently are five thriving institutions of high repute, which stand testimony to the unwavering commitment of its founders. With a sprawling campus of 11,000 sq.m in the heart of Al Ain’s school zone, Al Ain Juniors School British System is among the largest in the city. One of the flagship institutions of the AJ group, AJB has consistently produced toppers for the country and ends high up in the ranks every year. Al Ain Juniors Indian System is the other flagship with an appetite to churn out high performing students at all levels. Our graduates have graced the campuses of world renowned universities such as MIT, University of Texas at Austin, Texas Tech University and the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur. Zakher Private School is an elementary and junior school from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school follows the British System and caters to the upper middle income group, providing facilities such as a swimming pool, completely shaded areas, fully grassed fields and IT enabled classrooms. Al Ain Juniors Nursery, now on a separate, more spacious campus due to its popularity, is a bustling, modern nursery with over 200 children. Based on the EYFS curriculum, it’s teachers are well trained and qualified. Also following the British EYFS curriculum, Headstart Nursery is the most recent addition to the group. Opened in September 2013, Headstart caters for the higher income group, placing an emphasis on safety, a high quality physical environment and excellent education to nurture each individual child’s natural curiosity. Launched in 2012, Focal Point Management Consultancy is a dynamic team of consultants and trainers, each with a wealth of expertise and proven management experience. With a particular strength in Education and School Improvement, it offers client-centred training and professional development for staff alongside a Career Guidance Service and a Business and English Language division.
