Established in 2011, Palms Sports PJSC is a UAE-based company that promotes niche sporting activities with specific focus on Jiu-Jitsu and Martial Arts to UAE Nationals. Palms Sports is one of the 20+ companies under the International Holding Company PJSC (IHC), emphasizing the importance of sports in our daily-lives and we are determined to assist our community to integrate ‘sports’ and ‘leisure’ into the very fabric of day-to-day lifestyles.

A 360° sports company, we are the leading provider for sports training programs in the UAE, and enjoy a competitive advantage with regards to Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, and combat sports. We continuously strive to raise awareness and participation by highlighting the physical, mental, and health benefits of these sporting activities.

As the HR Group Manager / HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the Human Resources department. This leadership role requires a seasoned HR professional with a minimum of 12 years of experience in progressively responsible HR positions.
·      Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and employee engagement.
·      Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their professional development and departmental effectiveness.
·      Drive talent acquisition initiatives, collaborating with department heads to fulfill staffing needs, streamline recruitment processes, and ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
·      Implement and oversee comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
·      Develop and oversee performance management systems, providing guidance on goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement strategies.
·      Lead organizational development efforts, including succession planning, talent management, and leadership development programs.
·      Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive workplace culture and implementing strategies for diversity recruitment and retention.
·      Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing HR expertise, insights, and recommendations to support business objectives.
·      Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies and practices to maintain legal compliance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership capacity.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
