EGEC is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm (House of Expertise) in the areas of Buildings and Facilities, Urban Development and Integrated Infrastructure, Water and Environment, and Transportation. The firm has a strong presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The first firm, EGEC-Engineering House of Expertise, was established in 1986 in Cairo, Egypt as a share-holding company. In few years, the firm achieved remarkable recognition as one of the leading consultancy firms in Egypt.

Supervision Team

》Resident Engineer

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 20 years of project management

-Minimum 15 years in road projects

Minimum 10 years’ experience as project manager or resident engineer Approved as Resident Engineer from other government projects (MOTC, DGR etc)

Road Engineer

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 10 years’ experience in road construction

-Approved as Road Engineer from other government projects (MOIC, DGR etc) Quantity Surveyor

knowledge in OHDS and AASHTO codes.

Civil/Structural Engineer

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 10 years of design experience

Minimum 5 years as design engineer for infrastructure structures -Approved as Civil/Structural Engineer from other government projects (MOTC, DGR)

Electrical Engineer

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 10 years in MEP works for infrastructure projects and as design engineer Approved as Electrical Engineer from other government projects (MOTC, DG etc)

Knowledgeable with OHOS

》MEP Engineer

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 10 years in MEP works for infrastructure projects and as design engineer Approved as Electrical Engineer from other government projects (MOTC, DGI etc) Knowledgeable with OHOS

Materials Engineer

-Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

-Minimum 8 years of site experience, least 5 years as material engineer for road work -Approved as Materials Engineer from other government projects (MOTC, DGR etc.)

Resident Inspectors (Civil)

Diploma in Civil Engineering

Minimum 8 years’ experience in road construction Approved as Site Inspector from other government projects (MOTC, DGR etc.)

Materials Inspector

Diploma in Civil Engineering

Minimum 8 years’ site experience in road construction

-Approved as Materials inspector from other government projects (MOIC,DGR)

Quantity Surveyor 

Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying Degree/Professional Certificate from a recognized institution Minimum 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying for road projects

Approved as Quantity Surveyor from other government projects (MOTC, DGR)

Land Surveyor

Diploma/ Degree in Land Surveying Minimum 8 years’ experience in surveying works for road construction

-Approved as Land Surveyor from other government projects (MOTC, DGR etc.)

HSSE Officer

Degree in Health, Safety & Environmental or relevant, or degree in engineering

plus diploma/short term course in HSE

Minimum 8 years’ experience in HSE duties for road construction

-Approved as Safety Officer from other government projects (MOTC, DGR etc)

Administrative Assistant

High School Certificate and Certificate of Proficiency in MS software

-3 years of administration works in the construction site
