Procurement & Store Keeper –

Location: Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
1- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
2- Utilize accounting software to record item details, including cost centres.
3- Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking when necessary to ensure minimum stock is maintained.
4- Conduct regular stock counts to verify accuracy and prevent shortages.
5- Efficiently handle and dispatch items as requested.
6- Procure consumables and spare parts for the hospital’s daily operations.
7- Source suppliers, negotiate prices, and assess the quality of products.
8- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and costs.
9- Ensure timely delivery of items to meet operational needs.
10- Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement requirements.
11- Keep abreast of market trends and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.
12- Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
1- Hospital Experience: Previous experience in store keeping and procurement within a hospital or healthcare setting is required.
2- UAE Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in Dubai.
3- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with accounting software.
4- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient and well-organized store.
5- Stock Management: Knowledge of stock counting and minimum stock maintenance.
6- Communication: Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
