Job Purpose/Description

The Technical Author will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating policy and procedure documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate operational, policy, and procedure manuals for the organization’s aviation document management system. 2. Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

3. Work closely with various departments to gather necessary information for document creation and updates.

4. Manage version control, distribution, and archiving of policy and procedure documents within the document management system.

5. Ensure all documents comply with industry regulations and standards, such as

FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities. 6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures, recommending improvements as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation management, preferably in the aviation industry.

• Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (GCAA,FAA, EASA, etc.)

• Proficiency in using Document Management Systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
