Job Description

Star Services is urgently seeking a wide range of experienced professionals for major oil and gas opportunities based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. These roles feature positions with on-site operations and frequent offshore visits as required. Available Positions, Experience & Key Skills

1. Buyer

• Experience & Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant UAE experience (Oil & Gas preferred); Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Sourcing, supplier management, purchase orders, inventory control, and negotiation; proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.

2. Civil Structural Engineer

• Experience & Qualifications: 7–8 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in consultant/EPC design; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering mandatory (Master’s/professional qualifications advantageous); UAE G+5 project experience.

• Key Skills & Certifications: STAAD Pro, MAT 3D/3D Mat, AutoCAD; concrete/steel design, EPC, tendering, site execution, HSE, and PTW.

3. Petroleum Engineer

• Experience & Qualifications: 5+ years in Oil & Gas petroleum engineering; Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent; hands-on wireline and ESP completion design/operations.

• Key Skills & Certifications: ESP optimisation; rig/rig-less and slickline operations; well-test interpretation, production analysis, and project management.

4. Production Engineer

• Experience & Qualifications: 12+ years in Oil & Gas production engineering, including offshore production; Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Production planning, process optimisation, budgets, contractor management, and HSE; MS Office and Power BI with strong leadership capabilities.

5. Senior HSE Engineer

• Experience & Qualifications: 11+ years in the discipline with mandatory relevant Abu Dhabi experience within the last 3 years; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE/Environmental Sciences or equivalent; Safety Management diploma.

• Key Skills & Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or Oil & Gas qualification; ADNOC procedures, loss prevention, HSE workshops, HIRA/HAZID/HSEIA, audits, and incident investigation.

6. Data Engineer – DX

• Experience & Qualifications: 10+ years in IT and Digital Transformation; MSc in Data Analytics or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Relevant cloud/data engineering certifications; data pipelines, ETL, warehouses/lakes, governance, data integrity, and DX project delivery.

7. HSE Officer (CP)

• Experience & Qualifications: 7–8 years total experience with a minimum of 5 years as an Oil & Gas HSE Officer; Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, HSE or equivalent; Safety Management diploma.

• Key Skills & Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, HSEMS, ADNOC standards, inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigation, and training (ADNOC site experience preferred).

8. Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Experience & Qualifications: 12–15 years in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas FEED/EPC with a minimum of 5 years UAE and 5 years GCC Oil & Gas experience; BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.

• Key Skills & Certifications: API 610/617/660 certification; static and rotating equipment, ASME/API design, field engineering, and commissioning (PMP or MBA preferred).

9. Office Clerk (HLO)

• Experience & Qualifications: 3–5 years of office/secretarial experience; Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Aviation, or Logistics, or a diploma with 3 years of relevant experience.

• Key Skills & Certifications: HLO certification/training; helideck and helicopter coordination, passenger/cargo manifests, vessel logistics, records, and MS Office.

10. Office Clerk (Marine)

• Experience & Qualifications: 3–5 years of office/secretarial experience (Diploma or Bachelor’s preferred); marine, shipping, port, or offshore logistics experience advantageous.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Marine administration, vessel coordination, cargo documentation, operational reports, MS Office, and time management.

11. Scaffolding Technician

• Experience & Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant practical experience (Oil & Gas/live plant and Gulf experience preferred); minimum 3-year technical diploma or equivalent.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Scaffolding Inspector Training Certificate; scaffold design/calculations, erection/dismantling, inspection, tagging, HSE compliance, and English proficiency.

12. Electrical Technician (Support)

• Experience & Qualifications: 2–3 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience including UAE experience; ITI or diploma.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Electrical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, PTW, commissioning, safety codes, English proficiency, and computer skills.

13. Condition Monitoring Technician

• Experience & Qualifications: 5+ years in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas condition monitoring; minimum 3-year Mechanical Engineering technical diploma.

• Key Skills & Certifications: Level I or II Condition Monitoring certification mandatory; vibration, ultrasound, thermography, oil analysis, MCSA, rotating equipment diagnostics, and CMMS.

  • Other Engineers and Data Engineer: 150/30 (single status); 335/30 (family status after probation)
